What are the precautions for gas alarms?

pk_hits:       date:2018-10-26

The gas leak detector is a detector for detecting the gas concentration. The core component is a gas sensor. It is installed in a place where gas leakage may occur. When the concentration of gas in the air exceeds the set value, the detector will be triggered to alarm. External sound and light alarm signal, if connected to the alarm host and the alarm center can be connected to the network alarm, at the same time can automatically start the exhaust device, close the gas pipeline valve, etc., to ensure the safety of life and property. In the civil safety prevention project, it is mostly used for household gas leakage alarms, and is also widely used in various refineries, oil depots, chemical plants, liquefied gas stations and other places where flammable gas leakage is likely to occur.

1, the alarm probe is mainly connected to the detection component of the combustion gas sensor, the platinum wire coil is coated with alumina and adhesive composition spherical, and the outer surface is attached with rare metals such as platinum and palladium. Therefore, be careful when installing to avoid breaking the probe.

2, the installation height of the alarm should generally be 160-170cm, so that maintenance personnel can carry out routine maintenance.

3, the alarm is a safety instrument, with sound and light display function, should be installed in the place where the staff can easily see and hear, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.

4, there must be no strong electromagnetic fields (such as high-power motors, transformers) that affect the operation of the instrument.

5, the density of the gas to be measured is different, the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the roof, and the direction is downward; otherwise, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the ground, and the direction is upward. The controller uses a three-core shielded wire to connect with the detector (Note: the single-core wire diameter is not less than 0.75mm national standard wire, depending on the actual distance), and the shielding layer is connected to the controller casing and reliably grounded. When using RVV cables, metal pipes should be worn and the metal pipes should be reliably grounded.
